I've turned off all bylines for all content. But I need the image_view template to display all of the byline metadata: Creator, Publishing Date, Location, Tags and Rights as such: 1. A new byline, which should appear right below the image, should read: "Note taken by [Creator] on [Publishing Date] at [Location]." Do not include the "last modified" or "history" metadata. 2. The copyright line should appear right below the byline. This metadata should appear in a greyed box, like parts of it now do in the current takenote.net website (example: http://takenote.net/notetaker/marshall-40takenote.net/notes/commerce-bordering-reservation/view , which only shows the Publishing Date). 3. The tags line should appear last, though the text should be justified left, not right. 4. Move the description, if any, from just above the image to just below the image.

I'll need this issue resolved before I add images, as it will be much easier to verify how I've edited metadata in my original photos.

I see you did some work on the template. I just added a photo (http://72.175.231.250:8080/[…]/view), and the new byline is generated (Note taken by marshall-mayer on 2013/10/21 13:55:00 GMT-6 at 103 Russel Drive North, Cascade, MT 59421, USA). Several comments:

1. The creator name (in this case, marshall-mayer) should be displayed as Marshall Mayer, and linked to the author page (in this case, http://72.175.231.250:8080/take-note/author/marshall-mayer), as it was in the original byline (now hidden).

2. Can we "translate" the date/time information into English, converting "2013/10/21 13:55:00 GMT-6" to "October 21, 2013 at 1:55 pm"? Also, is there a way we can import the actual time, rather than a rounded off version (actual time this photo was taken is 1:57:02 pm)?

3. Let's remove the "at" from the beginning of the location information. It will need to be added manually, but sometimes "on" is a better word in context. Finally, put a period at the end of the location information.

Take a look. No intentional rounding of time is being done AFAIK.

This looks good. The rounding happens when the image is added to the site. The rounding happens so that the time conforms to the five-minute increments (and no seconds) that all date/time-based data must conform to in Plone. So unless there's an easy way to eliminate that transformation, let's not worry about it now.

So, #1 of this issue is done, on to #2, #3 and #4.

I now note that going to any image while not logged in results in a login page, even though the image is published. So that has changed in the last day.

Going back to #1 for a bit, let's put the word "at" between the date and time.

take a new look

All looks terrific. Let's make the credits text smaller. The credits should all fit on one line across a 1024 px screen.

all looks good.

Sorry to reopen this, but let's reverse the order of the tags line and the credits line, making the credits (copyright) line the very last line on the page.

Take a look.
