As the Great Recession rips through the country, the disruption affects everyone. Demand for low-end retail outlets collapses. Unhoused people take advantage of the shade in front of a store, but will have to move again soon. The irrationality of the economy is manifest everywhere. Capitalism can't be the solution when it is the problem.
