Tax Protesters Exploit Their Share of Public ResourcesTea Baggers protest taxes at the Alamo on Tax Day. The Alamo is a publicly maintained state historic site, the rally was held in a public park, and protesters drove to it on public roads, including Interstate 35 (though public bus stops are nearby). There were plenty of public employees on hand to protect the public's safety (police, firefighters, EMTs, etc.) and to clean up afterward. All for these tax protesters, most of whom are retired, relatively wealthy, and vote Republican. Taxes? Someone else can pay off Bush's federal deficit, the public be damned!https://take-note.com/note-takers/marshall--mayer/notes/tax-protesters-exploit-their-share-of-public-resources/viewhttps://take-note.com/note-takers/marshall--mayer/notes/tax-protesters-exploit-their-share-of-public-resources
