The original Monopoly game was invented in the early 1900s as an educational tool to illustrate the negative aspects of concentrating land in private monopolies. The Class Struggle game at the center of this note was created at the beginning of neoliberalism by Professor Bertell Ollman and intended to teach players about the politics of Marxism. We've also recently had a corrupt real-estate president who invented his own game (upper left). The class struggle is sharpening.
