The Next Front in the Culture Wars
As I wrote to Darrell Ehrlick, editor of the Daily Montanan, "In an effort to get ahead of the news, and link my 'social comment photography' with my writing, I’ve drafted this commentary for the Daily Montanan. Titled, 'The Next Front in the Culture Wars: Conservation of Rural Land and Water,' I write about the coming campaign by Republicans to defund federal land conservation programs. Of course, it’s all Biden’s fault and will be made catastrophically worse when he signs the IRA next week." The bill is being signed by the President right now. I've posted a PDF of the oped here.
