With the economy in free fall, we had hoped that President Obama would change expectations about what their government could do for them. Inaugurated with plenty of power, Obama never really challenged Ronald Reagan's "conventional wisdom" that government is the problem. Soon enough, we understood that nothing changed for most of us, especially for the banksters on Wall Street.
